With small amounts like 500 Dkr, monthly you can start an automated monthly investment in most banks for zero fees. You will however be restricted to the products available for automated montly investments on that site. For 200 Dkr a month you can join one of the AI investment platforms associated with different banks. Like June from Danske Bank and Nora from Nordea. There are also independents that offer AI based investment services.

It can be a jungle out there with lots of information, lots of opinions about what’s best and simply not knowing where to begin. Some information is general and lots is country specific as each country has different tax rules.

Some banks have higher fees than others. Some banks automatically report directly to SKAT (tax authorities) so that you don’t have to do it yourself. I prefer low fees and direct reporting so I use Nordnet and SaxoBank. (Links to sign-up below)

Yes, there are multiple ways of saving and investing for your child/ children. The most basic is a child savings account in which you can place 6000 Dkr per annum or 500 Dkr monthly. There are different tools for calculating this, one should expect to have 70% of current income as a pensionist. Some people have the same or even more than when they were working depending on how they have planned for their retirement. Home equity as well as other investments should be taken into consideration.

That depends on a lot of different factors like your age, how much is already saved up, how it is invested, medium, low or high risk? What percentage of your salary goes into the plan?

Women live longer and the average life span for women living in Denmark is 84 years and for men 80 years. With the current focus on healthy lifestyle and exercise as well as the preventive health services like cancer screening ….Lifespan can only be expected to increase.

Living a good life after one’s  working life has ended requires planning and strategy. Strategy beacuse there are many laws concerning pensions and investments that can be difficult for regular people to figure out.

It also requires saving in pensions and supplementary pension plans.  Statistics inform us that the collective womens’ savings for pension is significantly less than mens’.

There are a number of factors responsible like: low pay, higher percentage of part-time work compared to men as well as time off for maternity leave.

Which means for women it is important throughout your working life to be aware of the possiblities available to you as an individual to do something about this, so your life after working is enjoyable, with sufficient funds to live the life you want.

There are a number of options that I can help you with.
